Sunday brunch is one of my favorite things to do in the city. Especially favorite is brunch in the spring, when the odd sunshine filled day makes it warm enough to sit outside, preferably on a great patio noshing on some great breakfast food. I have been eyeing The Bellevue for awhile now. Every time I’m in Kensington Market and go by, it seems like my kind of place; charming, great ambience, a relaxed vibe with good looking food and cocktails. I finally had the chance to stop in last Sunday and I was not disappointed.
It was a great break from a rather chaotic week, for 1 hour we sat and soaked up the sunshine while sharing a yummy cocktail and a fantastic breakfast.
The Mimosa’s are made with freshly squeezed orange juice and the breakfasts are made with local artisanal ingredients and a lot of creativity. Make sure you check it out – at the corner of Bellevue and Nassau, its worth the trip. The Bellevue will definitely be a new addition to my favorites list.
