Here’s a neat slice of pop culture compliments of one of my favorite sites, designboom. A compendium covering fifty years of meals served on all the space missions. For someone like me who is food-obsessed it’s interesting to think about what dinner looks like in space. For everyone not food obsessed, it’s curious to see what time and progress does to the average astronaut’s meal. It’s a timeline of sorts beginning from the earliest mission in 1961 to present day. So very cool but it makes you wonder, who keeps track of this stuff? I’d love to have them over for dinner. It’s pure food nerd at its’ best. Click here to see it all.
