Get Clement’s Crepes

Posted by Nads on July 10, 2012

what I wake up dreaming about on Saturday morning

I love going to the Brickwork’s Market on a Saturday morning.  It is one of my favorite farmer’s markets in the city and I always do my rounds to visit my favorite farmers and pick up my favorite things (there are many, stay tuned for more on Brickwork’s in a later post), but one thing I NEVER miss is Clement’s Crepes.  Look for the longest line up in the food court and bee line for it.  Yes it is usually quite the wait, but it is always well worth it.  You could take your chances and wander over towards market closing when the line up starts to dwindle, but he may be out of the luscious pile of roasted garlic he generously slathers over his crepes and you will be sorely disappointed.  Up to you.  Always ready with a smile and a serving of his “hangover” cheese (watch the video and you’ll get it),

Watch Tim making a grilled chicken crepe live

once you have one of these you’ll wake up Saturday mornings craving them.  How can you expect anything less than extraordinary from someone who’s cooking philosophy is ” devoted to nourishing the body, celebrating the senses and illuminating the soul” all with natural local farmers ingredients.  These babies are soooo tasty.  He can be found at the Brickwork’s on Saturdays and Dufferin Grove on Thursday afternoons (yes I have gone to visit twice in one week before).  Ask for the Grilled Vegetarian, always my number one choice.  Check out my videos of original Clement’s Crepe productions here to see exactly what your missing.

Hello Ladies. Great to meet up with both of you last night and share some wonderful conversation. I am enjoying reading your blog and find myself salivating for some fabulous food or thirsting for a spiked drink! Look forward to meeting again. Have a great summer.

How did we miss each other? My sister and I were at the ferrams market and had some delicious crepes (then she gave us an extra for our long wait). Nutella Banana changed my world.
