Holiday Vintage at Value Village

Posted by Nads on December 11, 2012

One of my secret ‘go to’ places around town is Value Village.  It doesn’t seem like an obvious destination when shopping for the holidays, but you’d be surprised how many things you might come across with a bit of time to dig with a creative eye.  I drop in occasionally to peruse the vinyl, and always stop to have a peek in the jewelry, accessories and glassware.  I’ve found some amazing things over the years and these finds always feed that bug in me that’s on the hunt for a great deal and that jewel in the junk.  Here’s some adorable vintage glassware I picked up on my last visit:

These might just be too cute to give away, so they may find themselves in my cocktail cupboard waiting for some Calvados.  We’ll see.  What a steal at .99 cents a piece – seriously there are so many people I know who would love to get these for Christmas delicately bundled in a cute box.  6 bux – go figure!  Check ’em out.
