I used to spend tons of time going through mags and websites, tearing out pages and bookmarking details to help make my design decisions.  Houzz blew this process  away.  Houzz is a fantastic compendium of designer, architect, contractor and everyday people look books.  Indoors, outdoors, design, decor, architecture, the inventory is enormous and a quick search will serve up thousands of results for even the smallest detail.
