Moroccan Spice – Lifeovereasy

Moroccan Spice

Posted by Nads on November 1, 2011

I have written before about my ongoing love affair with kitchen accessories (for that matter kitchen anything) and this is no exception.  Every time I go on a trip, one thing I always come back with is a little reminder of the local cuisine.  Some time ago, my husband, (then boyfriend) and I traveled to Morocco.

This little memento of our time there still sits on my stove.  Adorable and functional, I have seen them in many Middle Eastern stores here (in Toronto) as well.  You can fill them with salt and pepper or in true Moroccan fashion, salt and cumin.

One trick I adopted is using a dusting of cumin to finish eggs – especially scrambled, fried or poached.  Try it!
