What could be more fun than seeing a string of these all-time classics on the big screen? TIFF is hosting a TOGA festival this month that kicks off tonight with an Animal House reunion. Legendary director John Landis, as well as the producer and co-founder, and a slew of actors will hit the TIFF stage for a round table Q and A followed by the film screening at 9:15. July 19th brings us Meatballs, another cult favourite, followed by weeks of 70’s, 80’s and 90’s classics, as well as a couple of current gems. Stripes, CaddyShack, Ghostbusters, Up In Smoke, Trading Places, The Blues Brothers, American Pie, the list goes on. Date night or an outing with the family, this is a perfect way to beat the heat wave and have some good laughs. Check it out.
