I was out and about the other day and a woman stopped me and asked “So how do you like the boots?” I looked down and realized she and I were wearing the same pair. “I LOVE the boots. No, I really, really, really LOVE the boots.” “I know , right?” she quickly responded with a knowing look. I walked away and realized that I had been wearing these boots for almost 6 weeks straight (K not quite literally but pretty much). I was in the middle of a reno, and most of my days have been filled with roaming through Big Box hardware stores, scouring the city for
plumbing supplies, crown mouldings, tiles, faucets, you name it, I’ve been there. This has meant tireless hours walking around and my go to uniform almost daily has been my Frye boots and jeans. I first discovered Frye boots 4 years ago while on a visit to New York City. They were the “it” boot of the moment and had my style written all over them. I had been hoping to pick up a pair for awhile but the hefty price tag had been holding me back. I scored my first pair somewhere in Soho on sale and have never looked back. They passed the ultimate test and it’s how I describe them to anyone who asks. Yes, they’re pricey, but the first time I wore them I walked around NYC for about ten hours straight in complete comfort. That’s pretty unheard of with any pair of shoes, never mind a brand new pair of boots. Frye’s mould to your feet, and are so well built they last forever. The more worn in they get, the better they look and the more comfy they feel. I have spent HOURS in these boots and would recommend them to everyone. Casual, well made, with a lot of handcrafted detailing they come in a wide range of styles with something for everyone, guys included. The women I ran into that day told me she had had her boots re-soled three times already. These boots are an investment, but their style is timeless and they will be in your closet forever. Do your feet a favor and run, don’t walk to check them out, you’ll be raving about them too.
