easy foodie gifts

Here is a “recipe” for some super easy impressive foodie gifts.  These are a snap to put together and look uber impressive.  That’s exactly the type of DIY I need while things are getting a little crazy leading up to the holidays.  Here’s what you need:a glass container.  Yup, that’s it.  A large 1.5 litre mason jar, a vase from the dollar store, a glass container from HomeSenese like I used here.  Then have a look around your pantry for a couple of easy, foodie filler items.  I have used all sorts of things in the past, here are a couple of suggestions; homemade pasta, homemade biscotti, other cookies, nuts, chestnuts, black rice, chocolates, home caramel corn, etc.

The list goes on, pretty much everything looks great packaged up this way.  Last but not least?  Glam it up a little, add some ribbon, ornaments, and a little glitter.  This will take your foodie gift to new heights of fabulousness.

Awesome!

Try it, and and don’t be afraid to share what you come up with.

  1. Great idea, Nads! I would be thrilled to get any one of those “fillers” in a jar!

  2. Awesome idea! A much better idea than those store bought prepackaged food items that are everywhere at this time of year.
