I’ve got Valentines Day on my mind, how about you?
I thought I’d give you another peek at the Valentine’s Marshmallow Pops I made last year. Cute, no?
I’ve made homemade marshmallows for the kids on Valentines Day since they were little. These are surprisingly easy, and taste much better than the store bought kind. I cut them into cute shapes with cookie cutters, and keep the scraps to toss into our hot chocolate. Feels like a Martha thing to do, and it’s fairly low effort.
Last year I had some fun decorating them and turning them into pops. Scored big points with the kids, that’s for sure! I have to remember to bring that up next time they give me a hard time about something. You need all the ammunition you can get with teens.
I may have a challenge this year keeping up with the Valentine marshmallow tradition, since we still have our gluten-free, sugar-free bet going on in the house. I still owe you a post on that don’t I? Soon, I promise.
In the meantime, why not give these a try yourself? They’ll look super cute on your counter, and your kids will think you’re the best.
