We’ve recently gone through the painful experience of staging and selling our house. I only say painful because it seems like the best way to show off your space is to clear out 3/4 of your things (yes my pod and storage saga continues, read about that here) and let someone else come in and spruce up what’s left.
These stagers are like miracle workers, organizing and re-arranging to pull out the best in every space and make every last corner including the insides of your clients look amazing.
Mission accomplished, our home is now sold but now that the staging stuff is gone, I’m left with some holes in my space and on my walls. I’ve been toying with some easy DIY’s to get those areas filled now that my artwork has been packed up and this was one of my latest projects.
I found these adorable little retro printed boxes in the up-front section of my local Michael’s and wondered what I could turn them into. I used the lids, grabbed some deep frames from Dollarama and put these together in about 10 minutes. They look adorable!
I love poking around the front feature section of Michael’s as they always stock inexpensive but super cute accessories that lead to inspired projects. Check them out.
