Have a look at these beauties. Total fashion fun!
During our Crazy Awesome Sister Road Trip to New York, instead of leaving before rush hour on the last day like we planned, we dropped into Anthropologie at Rockefeller Plaza “just for a minute.” Well, over an hour later we headed out the door with a new cream lace dress (me), these adorable measuring cups (Nads), and a fun straw fedora (my youngest). And while we were there, we had a look at a gallery exhibit featuring their 20th Anniversary Capsule Collection.
In a blast from the past, Anthro has re-issued 20 of their favourite pieces from the last 20 years in a collection called 20 for 20: The Archival Collection. They are available online or at their Rock Center store. These pics don’t do the pieces justice, but I just had to share.
I think these items look as modern now as they probably did years ago. Isn’t it amazing how the right design can have such staying power? And if you think about it, if you bought these originally they would only have cost you a few dollars a year – that’s pretty cheap ;). Here are some of my favs.
Not surprised the Ruched Top is a classic – everyone needs one of those!
The Daisy Dress is very figure-flattering.
Fun Button Crops!
I would love to get my hands on this adorable Venice-themed pencil skirt.
Love the Embroidered Sweater Coat!
Here are a few more dresses, skirts, and blouses:
The pieces were paired with some fab vintage accessories, but more on that later in the week – come back to have a look!
